The National Collaborative of Infants and Toddlers (NCIT) worked with the American Heart Association and my team to develop an explainer video about the policy tool, preemption, which lobbyists are using to supersede local governments’ legislations at the state level.
Character Design
To showcase an entire bustling community, we built 12 characters that run the gamut of race, age, gender, sexuality, ability, and body type. All these characters helped solidify this issue as one that affects all types of people. For emphasis and exaggeration, they were animated at a lower frame.
