Carbon emissions continue to be one of the leading causes of environmental pollution. However, there are a variety of lesser known techniques to capture and convert carbon into reusable materials. The goal of this video was to highlight the work that the Carbon Management Research Initiative has done to advocate for carbon capture technology to policymakers and decision makers during Climate Week
Development
I was given the ability to work with the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University SIPA and develop a hand drawn animation discussing the dangerous environmental impact of carbon smoke and how the technology of carbon capture can drastically reduce the carbon emissions over the next 40 years. Featuring the voice over talent of senior research scholar, Dr. Julio Friedmann, we struck a perfect tone between animated and urgent.
