As the second entry in my work with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, we worked to tackle fraudulent junk insurance policies. Predatory insurance companies take advantage of people who are injured, older, and/or non-native english speakers by selling cheap policies that never provide the proper coverage. The goal was to illustrate several first hand experiences based on real testimonials to alert everyone to the dangers of these policies.
Character Design and Development
The characters were designed to be more simple so each character could appeal the larger archetype they represented. This also made it easier to focus on the quotes and stories told by actual victims. I used dramatic type animation and silhouetted characters to bring those moments to light.
