Next Stop
Community animation Exhibition
Next Stop was an animated exhibition event that was conceived to bring together over 30 animators from around the DC area for the sake of collaboration. This was the third event of it’s kind put on by DC in Motion and I was incredible excited to be a selected featured animator and help organize the event.
Entry & Character Design
The prompt was to showcase a scene from the window of a train. Mine follows a giant who is clumsily ‘house hunting’ on the Faroe Islands, which inevitably leads to disaster.
Event
The exhibition projected 17 pairs of animations throughout the tunnels of a converted street car station underneath Dupont Circle, with over 400 attendees.
