With Social Driver, I got the tremendous opportunity to work with the American Council on Education to educate the general public about Dreamers and DACA recipients. I developed a collage based promotional video to provide basic information and act as an advertisement for the larger resources database, Remember the Dreamers.
Since 2016, President Donald Trump has continually promised to eliminate the DACA program. Fortunately, following our work, the Supreme Court delivered their 5-4 ruling that the Trump administration could not immediately shut down DACA and saved 700,000 young immigrants from deportation.
