Vaccine Hesitancy Among Minorities
In 2021 at Social Driver, I got the chance to develop a series of videos for Cigna Insurance. Misinformation and hesitation around vaccines, and particular the COVID vaccine, had been pervasive throughout the year. Cigna wanted to create a video that acknowledged this and touch on the long standing mistrust for experimental medical treatment from certain minority communities.
It was important to give this video a personal feel. I developed a dozen characters to showcase a wide variety of races, genders, and ages to visually show the emotion and expressions around the topic. While looking simple, it was important that the designs and movement felt grounded and real
